My goal was to do some serious blogging this year. But, like I told a good friend last week, January just kind of consumed me. Swallowed me up. I'm still recovering.
Biggest news for 2010. I had LASIK last Friday. The results are amazing. I'm seeing better than I probably ever have in my entire life. The downside is that I haven't been able to wash my eyes since last Friday. Eew. After tomorrow, I'm off my water restriction and can wash my eyes, swim, wear makeup, sweat. All the good stuff.
Unfortunately, I let January swallow my running too. Now I'm 45 days out from my first marathon and scared to death. 18 miles this Saturday. I'm running with a slower pace group. I'm just going to push through and do what I can.
Oh, and that 45 days also includes a fund raising commitment! That's totally snuck up on J.B. and I too. So, if you can, please give whatever. It's the American Cancer Society, so you know it's a kickass cause.
